W3C Standards

September 7, 2007

If the W3C did not develop standards for the internet, there would be a huge barrier that many people couldnt pass.

For example, If we didnt have the small variation of languages that we do now, and had a bunch of different languages coded in different ways, not everyone would be able to use the internet. Its make the internet almost as useful as the Macintosh Terminal on Windows Vista.

Without the standards that were set in place for us, we would not have the internet that we do today.
